Job Description:

Perform assessments and gather data on existing substations regarding the existing communication facilities. Develop the design of communications systems for substations including fiber optics, telecom racks systems, cabinet elevations, and communications block diagrams. Prepare panel interconnections and outdoor equipment wiring and communications cabling and raceways. Develop invoices for materials and nameplate schedule. Review internal communications designs and external design drawings. Direct designers and technicians by reviewing work and monitoring progress to ensure compliance with safety and regulations. Be visionary and able to share that vision with the team members planning alternatives. Familiarity with design codes and standards, such as NEC, IEEE and ANSI.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree
• 3-5 years of experience, minimum.
• Bilingual preferred (English and Spanish).
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with solar integration systems: inverters, battery charges and solar array
